Cheating aliens since last update

First of all, thank you for this wonderful game!
To the point:
Since the new update (not 100% sure of this, but haven't noticed this issue before) some aliens have started going through my towers even though they have a clear path to the cores. I've noticed that this happen when there are more than one unit in the vicinty and always in the border between two towers. I'll link to a screenshot I've managed to take to show my point.
Seems like a though on to break, but I'm happy to provide you with every detail I can find.

Edit: Oh, and this has happened a couple of times in every game I've played since the update.

I've also witnessed this behaviour, also near a temporal tower with large groups on Center of Power. It's been a while since the last time I saw it, so for all I know, it's been fixed already. Then again, I haven't played with that particular setup on that map in a long time.

I have seen this happen when some aliens in a group get hit by a temporal wave, and the aliens just out of range catch up and crowd behind the slower ones. They are unable to move forward, so they treat it as a blocked path I think, causing them to go through a tower.


The next time you see this happen, check to see if a temporal tower was involved. That will hopefully clear things up, and can be avoided by changing the location of the tower.

Its really bad on turnabout. Hoping they can fix this.

I also have met this phenomenon several times.
Especially in waste disposal , turnabout and onslaught like you.
It is somehow irksome indeed.
I believe that hidden path programmers can solve this.
